Rewriting the story of children across Cheshire (360G-CheshireCF-A409576)
Beanstalk is the national literacy charity that recruits,trains and supports volunteers to work in primary schools with children who are struggling with their reading ability and confidence. The projct provides on-going support for thirteen reading helpers, who, in turn, will each provide reading support sessions twice weekly for 40 disadvantaged children in Cheshire over the course of a year. The grant will pay for the operating costs to deliver the service.
