Recipient Org: Description Spark is a branch of Worth Unlimited. Worth Unlimited is a national charity and social enterprise that equips and supports young people to harness their gifts, passions and skills to be locally rooted enablers of hope and transformation. Spark aims to support young people on their journey to improved mental and emotional well being and increase their community engagement. Spark provides one one counselling free of charge where needed; recruits and trains and volunteer mentors; provides a one to one mentoring service free of charge to enable every young person in need to have a positive role model in their life; a youth club to enable those who have had mental health and identity challenges to start to rebuild their friendships groups and engage with the community. The Spark youth club runs every Monday night in term time. It was developed out of a need for the young people attending our mentoring and counselling project to find a way of developing friendships and starting to socialise after a period of isolation. Over the last 18 months the youth club has developed to a regular attendance of 10-12 young people who feel ready to start to engage with the community.
