Recipient Org: Description Bristol Playbus, Children’s Scrapstore and Learning Partnership West are three of Bristol’s leading organisations working with children and young (C&YP) people. Together, we work at a local, regional, national and international level and have more than eighty years’ experience of working with disadvantaged C&YP people. We are part of Bristol’s play network and deliver services including training, open-access play schemes and 1:1 support services for vulnerable C&YP. Our partnership will address the significant gap in play-based services for 5-12 year olds in Bristol. We will provide high quality training , play and inclusion services, and 1:1 support for some of Bristol’s most vulnerable C&YP because we firmly believe freely chosen play activities have a significant role in delivering positive experiences and healthy outcomes forC&YP. Our aim is to ensure that 5-12 year olds in Bristol have access to both high quality play and 1:1 support services, providing imaginative opportunities for developing resilience, skills, healthy activity,to secure positive outcomes in later childhood and adolescence. We will draw together our expertise, producing a business plan that will shape a strategic approach to play services across mobile, non-site specific and fixed-site play opportunities.
