| Recipient Org: Description | Community Integrated Care were founded in 1988 as one of the pioneers of the ‘Care in the Community Agenda’, with the aim of supporting people leaving long-stay, institutional care to lead fuller, better lives in the community. Since then, we have grown to provide a wide range of innovative and bespoke care services to thousands of people living across Scotland and England. We now deliver services in 14 local authorities across Scotland and over 35 in England, supporting individuals with a diverse range of needs including learning disabilities, autism, behaviours which challenge, epilepsy, acquired brain injury (ABI) and sensory disabilities. We provide support to over 500 people in Scotland and employ over 1,000 staff across a range of settings, including supported living, residential care, respite and short breaks, and vocational/outreach support. |
