Cataloguing and preservation of the Children's Society archive: Unexplored riches in medical history. (360G-Wellcome-102040_Z_13_Z)
This proposal seeks to complete the cataloguing and preservation project descr1) Cataloguing: - 18,000 children's case files, 1906-1926 - 41 children's homes governance and administration records, 1881-1945 2) Preservation of the Archive's children case files to prevent further deteri- The preservation of 4,400 multi-folded (3-fold) paper children's case files dating from 1906-1926. These files will be flattened, cleaned and repackaged using the enhanced methodology developed in the current project designed to allow greater usability and access for researchers.
