Recipient Org: Description The Association of Islamic Charitable Projects (AICP) is a registered charity in the UK. Our main centre is located in an area of Park Ward that is within an output area that is within the 5% most deprived for England. (We are part of a global movement working towards a just and harmonious society. We have two principal aims: first, to educate people of all backgrounds about Islamic culture and morals, and second, to warn people against violent extremists that contradict these teachings. In all our activities we work towards establishing a community that contributes to the betterment of society. Our organisation has a long history of fostering good relations with its neighbours and we continue to work towards a peaceful and productive society). AICP offers a wide range of community, health and sports initiatives tailored to the needs of the community. It aims to provide a holistic service, which helps people, particularly those living in disadvantaged area to improve their quality of life. To comply with Government guidelines with regards to social distancing, most of our activities have been transferred to digital delivery and we will support the most vulnerable through food delivery and counselling.
