Income is almost £25,000 Established over 30 years ago supporting family carers and their disabled/ill/aged cared for throughout Calderdale, with the majority of our group members and beneficiaries in Illingworth, Mixenden, Ovenden and Boothtown We provide support, information and social events with lunch and crafts/entertainment run by mainly by volunteers to relieve loneliness usually on a Sunday and Wednesday. Currently many of our carers are struggling to engage socially and are isolated. Attending joint events encourages them and improves their and cared for health and well being. We aim to provide a safe supportive environment for all and have over 60 people on our lists.
