Advancing Education. Relieving Unemployment. Providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare for all people living in the area, regardless of their age, sexual orientation, gender, race, disability or social and economic circumstances. Our current main activities are a Personal Development, Alternative Education and Employability Project supporting young people aged 16 25 who are Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET) to raise their confidence, self esteem and communication skills, build their CV's, job search and interview skills in order for them to gain employment, further education or training. We also provide an Alternative Education and Personal Development Project for young people who have been or in danger of being excluded from mainstream school. We provide the young people with the opportunity to gain Functional Skills qualifications in English, Maths, IT as well as vocational qualifications in a variety of subjects, including Hospitality & Catering, Retail, Health & Social Care, Child Care, Business Admin, Travel & Tourism, Fine Art, Music, DIY & Construction and Hair & Beauty. We also provide a disabled adults social and personal development project, with the intention of providing fun activities that will support the members to reach their full potential and were possible to live as independent as possible. We also offer a similar project for disabled young people aged 13-19
