Recipient Org: Description | BNENC was established to provide support to residents and community groups in North Liverpool, BNENC delivers projects that provide a positive impact upon many vulnerable individuals these include:- Victims of Crime: Parents support : Youth inclusion: Crime prevention: Support for Veterans : Kick Start 2 Health Social prescribing, Gp referrals, Health Inclusion for Men: Making Waves Programmes: Specialised outreach teams working with gangs and young people on the streets: a centre based youth Programme supporting young people during half term and end of term and afterschool activities, Drug and alcohol support: Hate crime: BNENC does this by providing access to 1 to 1 support group work: workshops: training and activities all that have a positive impact upon the environment: crime: health; Housing: employment etc. More recently we have established our welfare rights programme that during the last 18 months has secured £1.5 million of additional and back dated benefits for vulnerable residents, we also deliver 5 x befriending programmes at outreach locations throughout the community, BNENC also delivers a Kick Start to Health programme engaging 150 residents per week on cycling and walking for health programmes, walk & talk events, fishing, golf, educational trips out, chair based exercise, circuit training and fitness classes. We support parents families children young people and vulnerable adults via our programmes. |
