Recipient Org: Description Shrewsbury House is a youth and community centre which is the bedrock of the local community, supporting families and providing activities for all ages. the vision is to use activity and hands on learning opportunities for Skill development and confidence building in young people to ensure that they have the best possible start in life. The club operates an afterschool for 5–11-year-olds an open access senior club for 12–19-year-olds. we run intermediary sessions for the 11-12 until they feel ready for the progression route. The club operates out of school holiday schemes where we provide a hot meal and snacks throughout the day. the organisation is known locally as the Shewsy..Our motto is "People matter more than things" and this guides our approach to our work.
