Previous NEET projects by the group have highlighted the young peoples difficulties with mental health, the addition of a Support Worker would address this.

Recipient Org: Description To act as a resource for young people up to the age of 25 and the wider community, providing support, assistance and organising programmes of Physical, Educational and other activities as a means of: Advancing life and helping young people by developing capacities and skills, capabilities to enable them to participate in society as independent, mature and responsible individuals. Advancing Education. Relieving Unemployment. Providing recreational and leisure time activity in the interests of social welfare for all people living in the area, regardless of their age, sexual orientation, gender, race, disability or social and economic circumstances. Our current main activities are a five day per week Personal Development and Employability Project supporting young people aged 16 - 25 who are Not in Employment, Education or Training (NEET) to raise their confidence, self esteem and communication skills, build resilience and foster positive mental health. Build their CV's, job search and interview skills in order for them to gain employment, further education or training. We also provide the young people with the opportunity to gain Functional Skills qualifications in English, Maths, IT as well as vocational qualifications in a variety of subjects. We also provide an disabled adults social and personal development project, with the intention of providing fun activities that will support the members to reach their full potential and were possible to live as independent as possible. We also offer a similar project for disabled young people aged 13-19. We have also just started to deliver two Multiply contracts, supporting adults aged 19+ to engage with Maths and for some to gain Functional Skills accreditation up to Level 2.
