Recipient Org: Description Aims Vision MWSC was establishes in 2008 to support international workers and their dependents in Sefton and surrounding area who were experiencing discrimination, unfair treatment and financial hardship in particular in the fields of access to employment, housing, healthcare, welfare entitlements and financial services. Registered as a charity February 2009 and in January 2014 converted to a CIO. Vision Statement Our ultimate goal is for international workers to live and work without experiencing unfair and discriminatory treatment. Promoting ‘Equality & Diversity’. Mission Statement MWSC supports international workers and their dependants to live and work in Sefton and West Lancs free of discrimination, unfair treatment and the resultant financial hardship and negative impact on health and wellbeing. Mission Statement Aims MWSC will accomplish this by: • Informing workers of their rights and responsibilities • Supporting them to access services • Assisting them to complete official forms • Providing translation services • Supporting them to attain employment • Representing their interests and complaints with official departments and businesses Values MWSC takes equality and diversity seriously; it runs through all of the organisation’s work.
