| Recipient Org: Description | We provide funded sessional work to deliver a range of therapeutic, counselling, well-being, sport and education services to vulnerable and disadvantaged children and adults throughout the Liverpool City Region. Since 2019 we have worked with over *2,000 (*2,751 as of June 2025) children, young people and adults through our ‘4 pillars’ programme that focuses on enhancing physical, mental, financial health and wellbeing. Our main aim is to remove barriers that LIMIT LIFE CHANCES for those local residents that we serve. Our individualised and targeted programs are tailored to the unique needs of children, young people and adults with a range of issues, needs and illness and, in particular those with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and Mental Health Issues in the Wirral areas. These include :- - Mental Health - (1-1 counseling with highly qualified, registered and experienced therapists) and access to peer support and access to a funded, supervised well established digital mental health service for children aged 10 and over.. - Physical Health Support - (1-1/small group exercise, mobility, yoga, boxing, breath-work and physical activity sessions delivered by our qualified and experienced Personal Trainers) - Financial Health (6 week CCB financial literacy and education course delivered by our own teachers) - Education, Enterprise & Employment (6 week CCB programme enabling young people and adults gain employment, training, education, or set up a small business). - Neurodiversity and mental health; including online training programmes for adults, parents and carers of children and young people with mental health needs and, or SEND. |
