| Recipient Org: Description | Our organisation aims to support wellbeing, confidence, and social connection through practical support and nature-based creative activity. We work with individuals and communities to help people feel more connected, more confident, and better supported in their everyday lives, with a particular focus on creating cleaner, greener, and more connected communities. Our objectives are to: improve mental wellbeing through accessible, non-clinical support build confidence, aspiration, and self-belief through progressive creative activity and practical achievement reduce social isolation by creating safe spaces for connection and shared experience increase access to nature and green activity for people who may experience barriers support people in their homes and local environments to feel more settled, capable, and connected We deliver a combination of practical at-home support and facilitated community-based activity. This includes hands-on support to help individuals create cleaner, safer, and more manageable home environments, alongside nature-based creative workshops such as floristry and seasonal making that support wellbeing, confidence, and social connection. Our creative and environmental activities are intentionally small-scale and relationship-led, allowing participants to engage at their own pace and in ways that suit different needs, including neurodivergent participants. Programmes are designed around evidence that confidence and self-belief develop through repeated, supported experiences over time, rather than one-off interventions. All activities are delivered by a facilitator trained in mindfulness practice, Mental Health First Aid, and neurodiversity-aware approaches, ensuring that support is provided in a safe, inclusive, and responsive way. Alongside direct delivery, we work with local partners and trusted peer networks to reach people who may experience isolation, low confidence, or limited awareness of local opportunities. We actively gather feedback from those we support to inform learning and continuously improve our services. |
