Recipient Org: Description Tar Anall provided Training and Education to long term unemployed with the aim to ready them for work. We provide Health ans Well-being support to political ex-prisoners and their families who may have suffered trauma as a result of imprisonment or bereavement. We provide a one to one Counselling service and Complementary Therapy sessions to those who require emotional support, this includes additional support in the form of Advice and Welfare advise service. Tar Anall work closely with those socially isolated within our communities. Tar Anall, through this initiative have established a support network for over 50 men and women raging from the ages of 60-80 who meet weekly within Tar Anall. We provide a host of activities which allows for social inter-action and a befriending network addressing the needs of the individual who other ways would be socially isolated with no network of support. In addition to the above services Tar Anall provide Emotional and Well-Being support for those within our community who suffer from alcohol and drug addition. We have over 20 volunteer staff who provide the support to those who avail of this service. They are all fully registered counsellors with the Health Trust and have personal experience of drug or alcohol addition. This is a 24 hour service seven days a week.
