Co-designed and delivering the Irish Football Association Ahead of the Game programme, Delivered programmes with great success through Community Foundation NI Foundation delivering grassroots community based mental health initiatives; 1 in North Belfast (no 1 for suicide in NI) and one NI wider #icareandimthere. We use games to connect with young people and have found our approach creative and innovative. We know we have saved lives as we have inspired confidence in people to speak out. We have recently developed our work to accommodate adults and older people; and we have found our awareness raising reaches across all areas. In light of the Corona Virus we have identified that there will be many vulnerable people whom's mental health will be affected by isolation and lack of engagement. We aim to use our resources to contrinute towards these challenging times. |
