Mobilising young people in Liberia and Sierra Leone to rebuild communities devastated by the Ebola o (360G-CR-1321721)

Funding Organization
£655,697

Sierra Leone and Liberia were ravaged by the Ebola outbreak. Aside from the legacy of death and disease, the Ebola outbreak also left behind a severely weakened economy. This has affected young people in disadvantaged communities in particular. This project will help rebuild livelihoods for young people, strengthen community relations, and give young people and communities the information they need on health care and responding to disasters so that they are better protected in future. The result will be young people who have more secure livelihoods and improved knowledge on how to keep themselves and their communities well and safe at times of disaster.
