The Better Off Family Project (360G-CR-1352215)

Funding Organization
£124,002

The Better Off Family Project is set in a community in Belfast which has been severely affected by rising unemployment and poor access to opportunities for financial improvement. There are no money advice services or outreach services and there are problems accessing other resources. East Belfast Independent Advice Centre’s programme directly targets poverty by enabling families to reduce debt, increase access to statutory benefits, increase the community's financial management skills and provide work placements. As a result of this project families will have improved financial well-being.
