This proposal aims to provide an opportunity for very young children with disabilities to access quality and appropriate pre primary education across four districts in Tanzania. The call is for these children 'to achieve their potential' by being school ready and begin to develop key life/social skills. With the child at the centre of this work teachers, senior district staff, community members and parents will all receive training or support to understand key issues, barriers and ways to support children with disabilities. Education experts will support curricula/resource development as the current pre primary curriculum does not address inclusive education.
