Mental Health Forums for inclusive Communities (360G-CR-2781077)

The project will promote access to holistic mental health care services in five districts of Malawi. It will increase access to peer-led information and support services, including self-help groups, for people with mental illness. It will also improve opportunities for, and support access to community-based rehabilitation and vocational training programmes. The project will support community mental health fora to reduce stigma and discrimination and to promote inclusive communities where the contribution of people with mental illness is valued. A programme of community-based engagement and advocacy activities, and the use of media, will support these activities.
