This project will use kabaddi to empower girls at risk of or affected by unsafe migration (also defined as children 'on the move') in West Bengal, India. The sport is a ‘hook’ to encourage the girls’ participation, self-efficacy and agency. The project will then increase their knowledge and access to education, and bolster their support mechanisms and community integration.
