Joseph Roundtree Foundation (JRF) are working with an award-winning photographer and the writer to gather stories of poverty which challenge the stereotype, not through righteousness outrage, which can alienate people across the ideological divide, but by portraying poverty as everyone’s business, asking ‘what could you not live without’. The work is still ongoing, but the collection of stories so far gathered range from the extraordinary to the ordinary, highlighting the commonality between all of us as human beings.
