COVID19 - A. Part of the funding will go to the direct services that the Federation provides to survivors across England: 1. Online webchat support. Demand tripled during the first 3 weeks of lockdown (likely due to greater accessibility than phone calls for survivors). Funding will help to increase human resource & hours of webchat availability. 2. Comms for survivors. WAFE will continue to coordinate the sector's response to Covid-19, including developing & publishing safety guidance for survivors affected by Covid-19. B. WAFE will also then act as an onward grant maker to flow part of the fund to their 170 (approx.) members to enable them to respond to localised impacts of Covid-19.
