COVID19 -The funding we are applying for will be used for staffing and project related costs to be delivered by our Women?s Live Leeds (WLL) team, in order to provide a platform and resources that will help facilitate the engagement of some the most vulnerable women, young women and girls (including those with no recourse to public funds or facing harm) in Leeds as follows:1. To Create an independent website to host Women Friendly Leeds (WFL) and to be a platform where newly created on-line resources, tools and information can be shared.The purpose of this website will be to:- To give WFL its own web presence that will focus on the women?s movement in Leeds, that will be the go to place for all conversations, information and developments. - Have an online chat function for women and girls to speak to the WFL team who will support them in developing their own campaigns specifically targeting support during the COVID-19 crisis, particularly regarding mental health and inclusion - Contribute to Women?s Voices of the Lockdown- Have a place where women and girls can share their stories through blogs, vlogs and the function to host focus groups conversations and developments- Share learning and resources with others by having ?useful documents and tools? to download.2. To have a ?Digital Disadvantaged? fund that will be extended across the city by our team who have established links with the Black & Minority Ethnic community (BME) Hub (the BME Hub is the Network that consists of BME Organisations, Community Groups and Projects, including those who support Asylum Seekers and New Migrants and) to provide the most vulnerable women and girls our teams are supporting, and those that we haven?t been able to support, with simple equipment to enable them to access services and opportunities which are online. This resource will include:- The purchase of tablets, data sticks/dongles for them to manage for use by their own particular vulnerable service users, if they have limited access to computers or the internet- Data sticks/dongles for access to the internet and online support- Simple smart phones for those who do not have a phone
