COVID19 -Services for forgotten women ? women in London escaping trafficking who have no access to accommodation. They quite literally have no roof over their heads and no access to public funds. With the onset of COVID 19 women escaping trafficking have become invisible women in the crisis, with nowhere to turn. We need: - 6 months funding for a ?pop up? drop in and 6 months funding for a community support worker to work from this base - Costs of community base; providing washing facilities, cooking facilities, accessible information and guidance about the virus and a safe space to come to for help. - Access to basic food supplies (women escaping trafficking will not go to food banks for fear that they will be traced by the traffickers they have escaped from). - Welfare packs containing toiletries, change of clothes and Personal Protective Equipment including gloves, masks, hand sanitizers etc. - Pay as you go phones to enable the community worker to call them and for them to call emergency services if they need to. Women would charge the phones each time they visit the ?pop up? drop in base. - Travel Costs to get to the drop-in base
