Youth Community Support Agency (YCSA) Recovery Funding (360G-CR-4908699)
COVID19 - Purchase of 8 IPads for use in therapeutic arts activities with young people during lockdown and social distancing. Arts materials to create packs for therapeutic activities which can be dropped to families during lockdown and used for social distanced activities when lockdown is eased. PPE items to ensure safety against COVID eg masks, cleansing wipes etc.- Additional phones, tablets and data due to digital exclusion of many BME young people which leads to their becoming further socially isolated and preventing them accessing support services. YCSA has been successful in obtaining some funding towards this but only until end June ? and we anticipate the need lasting longer. - Contribution towards core costs ? as income streams that helped pay this have dried up during, and in lead up to, lockdown, while costs such as rent, equipment maintenance contracts, standing charges for phones and energy, minibus maintenance, etc. remain.
