The proposal will support the expansion and development of Cooperation Town food co-ops, helping community members predominantly in deprived communities to access lower-cost food items through developing local food co-ops. Through initial support from Cooperation Town community members develop their skills and confidence to become community organisers, and to develop their own food co-op for their community.
