Action Foundation supports and empowers people seeking asylum, refugees and migrants in the North East of England. The challenges their services users face include homelessness, trauma and poor mental health, loneliness and poverty. The funding request would pay for salaries for staff to deliver their work providing language classes, employability support and social activities. Over 4 years, their work will support thousands of Refugee and Asylum Seekers, supporting them to have improved mental health, overcome barriers, integrate with the community, and build skills for the future.
