Cheshire Self Care and Suicide Prevention Project (360G-CheshireCF-A420600)

PAPYRUS is the national charity dedicated to the prevention of young suicide in the UK, providing confidential support to young people and anyone worried about a young person - whilst engaging with communities, and training individuals and groups in suicide awareness. The Cheshire Self Care and Suicide Prevention project, is an innovative project that engages young people, parents and the wider Cheshire community . The project will promote and practice the art of of self care which will involve the recruitment and training of 60 Cheshire wide suicide prevention first aiders and the delivery of free awareness suicide prevention sessions to parents. The grant will pay for staffing and running costs for the project.
