Afterschool extracurricular activities are to be offered in a multitude of disciplines every Wednesday to improve mental and emotional health and wellbeing. These activities will incorporate new sports and teams, relaxation and resilience building through yoga and mindfulness, healthy eating through the offer of cookery club and a new performing arts club which will include music, drama and dance. High uptake will be ensured amongst the more vulnerable learners by offering paid transport home on coaches. A grant will pay for transport, staff, equipment and food.
