Snowy's Building (360G-CheshireCF-A506130)

£5,000

Petty Pool is a specialist education provider for young adults aged 16 ? 25 with learning disabilities and supports 100 students with a variety of needs from across Cheshire, and the North West. The organisation sought funding to contribute to their vision of creating a brand new, purpose-built facility at Petty Pool which will include three new classrooms and a new reception area, as well as replacing our existing animal care facility as it is in a poor condition and is no longer suitable for the needs of our students. The grant funding requested will be used to purchase IT equipment required for students to study in the new classrooms. The new facility will be a modern learning environment which will increase our capacity so we can support more students into the college and more effectively meet our students needs by being fully accessible, which will allow our students with physical needs to increase their independence; and creating new inhouse work experience opportunities in reception and office skills.
