Recipient Org: Description Mobility and Access Group aim to ensure people in the Handforth and surrounding area have access to facilities - including physical access to buildings, and support to take part in social activities. We also work with local businesses to help ensure that people have access to shops and facilities. In addition we raise awareness locally of disability issues. We also provide trips and outings for people with disabilities to ensure that they are able to socialise and spend time with other people to reduce isolation. We have recently been gifted a mini-bus from Cheshire East Council and are now developing a community transport scheme for people with physical disabilities and older people.
