Burtonwood & Winwick Community Bus (360G-CheshireCF-A572174)

Providing transport and other support for residents in Burtonwood & Winwick. COVID is not yet over and we are still busy collecting and delivering prescriptions and picking up shopping for residents who cannot leave home. We have continued to transport people to medical appointments and to work throughout the crisis and as guidance has changed, are now providing non-essential journeys. Although there are branch surgeries in Burtonwood, they have very limited opening hours. The main surgeries are in Earlestown. The frequency of the bus service to Earlestown has been reduced to 2 hourly meaning that our service is needed more than ever. We also take people to day centres, which allows respite for carers.
