Nantwich & District Riding for the Disabled provides therapy with the use of horses for people with disabilities to improve their health and well-being. The project will provide a covered outdoor area education and training area, which can be used for social and other activities, quiet therapy sessions, or for vulnerable and crowd adverse people to enjoy spending quality, peaceful time with a horse. It will also allow for the purchase of extra riding hats to assist with Covid safety.

This is achieved with the assistance of numerous volunteers from the local area. We have the use of a well structured and organised venue and all the facilities at the Equestrian Centre at Reaseheath College in Nantwich to enable our participants and the volunteers to reach their full potential. We aim to provide fun, education, exercise, inclusivity and a community spirit to build physical and mental strength for all involved. We provide riding sessions on our own horses and all types of horse care as well as sessions on the Mechanical Horse for those with more complex needs. |
