Recipient Org: Description We train volunteers to provide home reading support for primary school aged children living on deprived housing estates in west London. Our volunteers aim to instil a love of reading in the children to encourage them to read widely and for pleasure, to help with their literacy, education and life chances. Our volunteers also support parents to enable them to better participate in their children's reading and literacy; for the most vulnerable families we signpost them to local services.
