HOPS (Healing Opportunities Provision Scheme) (360G-Coalfields-Regen-73-26128-2020-07-21)

The project is to offer regular support to unpaid carers, older people, those with chronic health problems and the socially isolated, to maintain and improve their general health and wellbeing. The project will be delivered online for a period of 6 months, and will offer individuals weekly opportunities to learn self-care skills and to connect with their peers and a newly appointed Social Inclusion Coordinator. The programme will be available to access live and will also be posted on Facebook for repeat viewing. The Social Inclusion Coordinator will be responsible for ensuring that the online support meets clients' needs, commissioning experienced tutors to deliver the sessions, promotion of the project and supporting clients to engage, as well as signposting to other services.
