Recipient Org: Description We provide high quality training in accredited courses which include Engineering, Light Motor Vehicle, Business Administration, Supporting Teaching and Learning and many more. In addition to this, we run a series of non-accredited hobby and craft based courses at our Centre. From September 2019:- - we will continue providing Post 16, full-time, provision, sourcing funding to secure this. - we are running Twilight Engineering courses for local school children aged 14-16 and would like to expand this offer and provide additional courses. - we are working on an application to the ESFA to be a registered Main Provider for FE. - we are looking at expanding our provision and in particular cater for more students with Special Educational Needs. - we are now an approved Training Provider for Apprenticeships. - we support widening participation (female adult TA on work placement in Engineering). - we continue to work closely with Cumbria County Council’s Community Learning and Skills Department. - we continue to offer a thriving mini bus service. - we are expanding the exam centre provision due to high demand to the current successful systems. - we are continually looking at additional opportunities to utilise the site to it's full potential.
