Recipient Org: Description Brampton and Beyond Community Trust is a charitable company limited by guarantee which was formed in July 2010 to replace the former Brampton Community Association which had existed for community benefit since 1991. The Trust is managed by a voluntary Board of 5 local people and has a strong commitment to improving the lives of those living and working in Brampton and the surrounding parishes. The Trust also owns and operates Brampton Community Centre, which provides a base for the Trust’s operations, and is located in the heart of the market town of Brampton, a town which is seen as relatively prosperous, however, there are hidden pockets of deprivation. Brampton and Beyond Community Trust also aims to break down barriers surrounding social isolation and improve the health and wellbeing of all members of the community. Via the Community Centre site, the Trust provides the following services/facilities: - Ofsted registered childcare provision - Incubator office space/office space for other charities and non-profits - Space hire (parties, events, conferences, performances, lunches, etc.) - Arts, leisure and learning facilities - Referrals to other specialist organisations - Support to, and a base for other community organisations - Health and wellbeing sessions and projects
