Recipient Org: Description The aims and objectives of Netherhall Rugby Football Club is to promote the physical game of rugby union within our local community, and provide the best possible facilities to allow us to deliver our aims to as many young people as possible, both male and female, in a completely safe and welcoming environment. We recognise and promote the importance of a healthy active lifestyle for young people in our area, and we welcome and encourage their wider family to be involved in their development. We provide a host of facilities and social events suited to our players and their families and friends where they can spend valuable quality time together. We currently have around 50 registered players, between the ages of 6 to 18, which includes both boys and girls teams, and pride ourselves on keeping costs incurred by our players to an absolute minimum, which can often be seen as a barrier to children taking up sport. We are accredited to England Rugby Union, and share their core values of TEAMWORK, RESPECT, ENJOYMENT, DISCIPLINE and SPORTSMANSHIP, which underpin everything we do, as well as promoting fairness and equality at all times throughout the club.
