Recipient Org: Description We provide tailored one-to-one support to people with multiple complex needs, motivating, inspiring and enabling them to actively participate in bespoke community volunteering opportunities. Using a strengths-based approach, we help our clients to: • Become more aware of their capabilities and develop confidence, a greater sense of responsibility and self-belief • Develop greater resilience and ability to adapt when faced with challenging circumstances • Form stronger, more positive relationships and feel more connected to their community • Set their own goals for what they would like to achieve in life. To do this we: • Provide intensive support, that challenges perceptions and attitudes to volunteering, and identify future goals and aspirations • Broker individual volunteering placements that respond to a person’s needs, interests and ambitions • Support people to overcome barriers, including practical support with applications and interviews • Join up our work with other services and interventions to ensure clients receive an integrated pathway towards addressing complex needs, including access to services that can help them overcome the challenges they face • Support volunteer-involving organisations to view people with complex needs positively and value the contribution they can make • Monitor and evaluate the impact of our work.
