Recipient Org: Description Copeland Youth Network (CYN) are a collaborative group of neighbourhood youth work providers. The main aim is to give a unified, strategic voice to youth work providers and maintain and develop core, neighborhood, youth-work capacity in Copeland. The Phoenix Youth Project has been in existence for 21 years. It provides quality youth provision in the areas of Cleator Moor & Frizington. Our Charitable Objects are; I. The advancement of education of children and young people in Copeland, Cumbria, in particular but not exclusively through leisure time activities so as to develop their mental, physical and personal capacities so that they may grow to full maturity as individuals and members of society; II. To promote for the benefit of children and young people in Copeland, Cumbria and the surrounding area the provision of facilities for recreation or other leisure time occupations in the interests of social welfare and with the object of improving their conditions of life; III. And the preservation and protection of good health of children and young people in Copeland, Cumbria, in particular but not exclusively, through the provision of information and advice.
