Recipient Org: Description South Whitehaven Youth Partnership (SWYP) launched the 1st of April 2020 and has been running successfully over the past three years and has overcome many difficulties and challenges. SWYP has become one of the main providers of youth work in Copeland, working with 400 young people aged 8-19 years across the South Whitehaven area; an area clearly recognised as high levels of poverty and deprivation on national measures. SWYP delivers high quality youth work for children and young people living in Mirehouse, Woodhouse, Kells, Greenbank with young people attending from surrounding areas such a Hensingham and Moresby. This is delivered through youth clubs, detached youth work, one-to-one support and school holiday provisions.
