Royal Docks Green Skill Programme (360G-GLA-GROUP-RD_0002-2022-07-07)

Funding Organization
£130,000

Groundwork London (GL) have secured ESF funding to deliver a London-wide programme of Green Skills training. The Royal Docks GSP will focus on priority themes of green jobs and community wealth building. GL are training 100 participants over two years (50 in year 1 and 50 in year 2 following review of first cohort). This will lead to 35 jobs directly as a result of the training. The GSP proposed aims are to support local residents into quality skilled, sector specific green jobs across the Royal Docks and Newham. The funding identities the priority groups as NEET, People with a disability, Over 50’s, BAME, Women, Unemployed and Inactive as directed by EPMU (under the GLA ESF non co-financed 1.4 strand).
