Boosting Life Sciences Social Economy (360G-GLA-GROUP-_0135-2023-07-25)

£1,465,707

The project will support emerging social businesses and potential entrepreneurs in public health and life sciences, thereby increasing opportunities for underserved communities to benefit from economic opportunities in these sectors. The seven London boroughs that host London’s Innovation Districts, and MedCity, will grow a local social economy that is community-driven and actively addresses entrenched health and wealth inequalities. Targeted business support will include outreach, challenge-based events, incubation, mentoring, acceleration and grant giving. Networking and knowledge exchange will connect entrepreneurs with researchers, businesses and commissioners across the Innovation Districts and guarantee longer term impact of this nascent ecosystem.
