Shifting London (360G-GLA-GROUP-_0156-2023-08-21)
The School for Social Entrepreneurs will deliver an innovative mix of interventions including a vibrant Social Enterprise Festival designed to reach a diverse range of people from across Greater London. We will run 16 ‘drop in’ workshops between September 2023 and December 2024 designed to support people to explore opportunities within the local, social economy. In addition, we will recruit 80 social entrepreneurs for an intensive twelve-month learning programme; and distribute £400,000 in grants (Match Trading and traditional) to participants on the intensive programmes. These interventions will build interest and help grow the social economy across London.

| Funding Org: Description | The GLA is a democratically elected strategic authority, comprising two distinct parts: the Mayor and Assembly. The Mayor is elected directly by Londoners, while the Assembly consists of 25 elected members (14 representing constituencies and the rest elected from party lists according to total London-wide vote). The Mayor of London sets the budget and is responsible for making London a better place for everyone who visits, lives or works in the city. The GLA does not have a central, annual grants funding process. All grants relate to particular projects and Mayoral priorities |
