Empowerment for Deaf Londoners with Voter ID (360G-GLA-GROUP0061-2023-01-13)
The British Deaf Association provided face-to-face information sessions in BSL at various locations across London covering Camden, Greenwich, Hackney, Harrow, Havering, and Newham. As people in the Deaf community often have to travel across boroughs to visit Deaf community groups, these in-person sessions had a wider impact beyond these boroughs, impacting individuals from Barking & Dagenham, Barnet, Bexley, Brent, Bromley, Haringey, Lewisham, and Tower Hamlets. The British Deaf Association also delivered a live-streamed Q&A event to Deaf people across London and created a BSL video that was shared via social media and emailed to Deaf community leaders to cascade to their networks.
