Barnet's bid focuses on three separate interventions to increase housing delivery by commissioning consultants to: 1. Create a site assessment tool for evaluating the viability of 60 sites identified by Barnet Council for the delivery of housing and growth – including affordable housing over the next 10 years. 2. Undertake detailed feasibility studies to assess the suitability of prioritised development in 7 car park sites up to RIBA stage 1 for affordable housing to be delivered by 2030. 3. Undertake detailed feasibility studies to assess the suitability of prioritised development in 5 non-car park sites up to RIBA stage 1 for affordable housing to be delivered by 2030.
