Recipient Org: Description | The Polish Catholic Mission (PCM) in Birmingham, in association with the Polish Catholic Association (PCA) based at the Polish Millennium House in Bordesley Street, provides faith based and secular activities and events. It offers facilities for Polish people of all ages and their friends; Mothers and toddlers club meets twice weekly; Polish dance group hold practices and perform in public; senior citizens enjoy day centre activities; the choir holds weekly practices; the Polish Boy Scouts and Girl Guides hold regular meetings. All these groups are self funded. There are also several support groups as well as an advice centre. All the activities are organised by many reliable and motivated volunteers. The aim of this is to upkeep the religious life, heritage and culture of the Polish Community in Birmingham and surrounding districts. |
