Recipient Org: Description Northside Welcome Centre is a community centre in Stockland Green where a variety of activities take place. Visitors to the centre are sure of a warm welcome and may take part in social activities, build self confidence and self esteem, improve their lifestyle or participate in an educational programme. Advice and guidance are readily available and some people have found help finding work. Some of the activities we offer are IT skills, yoga, healthy living, flower arranging, coffee morning, job club, confidence building. Runs a variety of courses and provides information, advice and guidance to local people. Northside Welcome Centre aims to promote community cohesion, to be a warm and welcoming place, to improve the lives of the isolated and lonely.
