Recipient Org: Description Karis Neighbour Scheme offers befriending, practical help and advocacy to people in need in the Ladywood, Edgbaston and Harborne areas of Birmingham. We particularly look to reach people who are isolated and don't have the support of friends or family that we all rely on at different times in our lives, we look to be 'good neighbours' to those who have otherwise been marginalised. We rely on a small staff team and the work of a large group of volunteers who give their time, skills and energy to help respond to the needs of others in their communities.
